Kerry Oliver-Smith, Curator of Contemporary Art, will lead a short discussion of work by three major contemporary Latin American artists. Oliver-Smith, was born in Argentina and raised in Latin America. She oversees a collection of international art and has curated, lectured and authored publications for more than thirty exhibitions. Oliver-Smith is the recipient of several grants and awards, including major support from the Andy Warhol Foundation for Project Europa: Imagining the (Im) Possible, which travelled to New York. She has served as an Adjunct Scholar at UF, was a founder and artistic director of Florida’s Hippodrome Theater and has worked internationally on film and theater projects.
