Eric Flagg is coordinator and professor at the Digital Media Technology program at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida and was previously the Department Chair of the Digital Film program at the Art Institute of Jacksonville. In addition to his academic work in the film and video field, Eric co-owns a documentary film production company, Jellyfish Smack Productions. Here, he has co-directed and produced numerous award-winning films. At Santa Fe College, Eric teaches students how to make short films and videos ranging from narrative and documentary films to music videos and commercials.
Eric holds a master’s degree from the Documentary Institute at the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. He combines his love for storytelling, science and conservation and has produced numerous documentaries relating to environmental topics including Gimme Green (2007), Terra Blight (2012) and Following the Ichetucknee (2014).
